Counter with a hint of “I’m home.

The word “izakaya” is not quite enough.

To be precise, it is “Okan’s home cooking restaurant.

But more to the point – a place like a warm hand memory.

The restaurant has only a counter, which fills up to seven or eight people.
The smallness of the space is just right. The small space is just right, because you can naturally strike up a conversation with someone next to you.

These exchanges loosen the atmosphere of the place.

The first three dishes tell you how the day is going.

We started with a small bowl of three different dishes.

On this day, there were broccoli with kani-kaman, wakame seaweed and bamboo shoots, and fried beans and bacon with mayonnaise.
