FEATURED SPOT
Deep Osakaのおすすめスポット

Less than a snack bar, but a little taller.

A sense of security that "you're safe here" greets you, different in a good way from the austerity of the place.

The place is Jankara Deep Fuse.
It is a strange space, a "snack-style karaoke cafe" that looks like a snack bar, but is not.

You don't need alcohol. You don't even need to have a favorite song. With a single clap of the hands, you can connect with someone you don't know.
It is such a friendly social place.
It would be a shame to pass by without knowing it.

Fuse, Higashi Osaka. Just after getting off the Kintetsu station, you will see a familiar Giancarra sign, but with a slightly different atmosphere.
Deep Fuse Branch. Just by the sound of it, something interesting is about to happen.

Upon entering, one is confronted with a hallway lined with signs that look like a snack bar district. In fact, these are all signs for private karaoke rooms.

Jutemu” and “Snack Cappadocia”…the names alone are enough to draw you into the drama-like world of the restaurant.

In the center of the store is a “snack-style karaoke cafe.
This is the “new adult playground” proposed by Jankara.

A mysterious space connected by song

スナック風カラオケ喫茶スペース

Inside the restaurant is a U-shaped counter. There is no stage in the center.
Whenever someone sings, the customers surrounding the counter naturally listen.

There is applause. Nods of approval are exchanged. With just one song, there is no awkwardness with strangers.

I asked, “Are you sure you don’t have a number eighteen or something?” one of the regulars replied with a smile, “Sometimes it’s more fun to play songs I don’t know.
I asked her if she had a favorite song, and she laughed and replied, “Sometimes it’s more fun to play a song you don’t know. It’s like testing their reactions.

When I hear the word “snack bar,” I am somewhat nervous. But this is a place that dares to let you take off your title.
There is an atmosphere where anyone can instantly become a “familiar face.

It’s a place where you don’t know each other, but somehow it is friendly.

To begin with, the culture of the snack bar was a world where “introductions” were necessary.
It is a somewhat high threshold, and it takes courage to enter.

But this place is different. Just the fact that there is a sign that says “Jankara” gives you a sense of security.
You don’t have to order alcohol. You can even use the drink bar.
It’s a little strange, but comfortable, to be in a snack bar without such rituals as “buy you a drink” or “seduce you.

And the prices are the same as for regular karaoke.
Even first-timers can jump in without worrying about their wallets.

The snack bar might as well be a “night park.

There was once a night in the past when a stranger talked to me on a park bench, and for some reason we struck up a conversation.
This karaoke cafe has similar “mysterious nighttime encounters.

People clapping their hands in time to the songs. People who clap along to the songs. People who are a little reserved, but who have definitely found their place.
Laughing at someone’s song, nodding at someone’s story, one’s heart gradually relaxes.

This is not “someone else’s store,” but rather a “place” of the moment, created by people who happen to be gathered together.
Perhaps that is the essence of a snack bar.

Let’s grow up a little taller and join the adults in the evening.

Originally, snack bars were the place for Showa-era adults.
But now, Heisei-born and Generation Z people also step into this place with a little curiosity.

You don’t have to drink. You don’t have to be a good singer.
All you have to do is share a little bit of the same time with someone else.

It’s “snack-like” but “just right.
There was a new kind of night in Fuse.
